It seems that we are increasingly being bombarded with the realization lived out in this scripture in our society today. With sin being recognized as courage, when it comes to someone choosing a homosexual lifestye, or championing the death of our children, to those who promote their own causes through the sacrifice of their families. Our society tends to welcome change, whatever it is, to the eroding of our morality, just to be politically correct. In our attempt to give everyone a voice, we have silenced the very voices of reason that direct us in right and wrong. When anyone's passion or preference doesn't find root in the word of God, it is wrong.
We look to others to validate us as individuals, hoping that will be the answer to our greatest needs. According to the word of God, all that we need comes from him. James 1:17 says..........
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
I am afraid that as the Lord dealt with the nation of Israel in times past, we will face calamity and doom as our immorality, and acceptance of sin, increases today. It is a sad commentary on society when everything that should be shameful is put on display, and instead of being frowned upon, is paraded to a cheerful audience of tolerance. As long as I live I am certian that I will uphold my faith, beliefs, and convictions, as found in the Holy Bible. The world and society can choose however they choose, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
