Pastor's Blog

Anyone who has truly been called to Pastor should have a heart for people in the service of the Lord. They should not seek for fame, self recognition, or wealth through ministry. Athough, effective ministry will bring some of these things they should never lose sight of why they are called by God to do what they do. Pastors should be motivated out of the love they have for the flock of God that his been placed under their care. Pastors should be praying always for the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of all his flock, and the whole of the body of Christ. A Pastor is a sheperd, and a sheperd a minister, and you can only minister effectively if you are driven by your heart. Peter alludes to this in 1 Peter 5:2 when he says....Be sheperds of  of God's flock that is under your care. serving as overseerers not because you must, but because you are willing as God wants you to be ; not greedy for money, but eager to serve. What motivates you, are you a servant of God?
